- How many steps per day should we do?

https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s40279-021-01536-4

Walking is a good form of movement that does not stress the body, the current recommendations are to try and do 10,000 steps a day. This paper looked at the link between the amount of steps done in the day and the chances of dying (all cause mortality). They found that between 2,700 and 17,000 steps there is an inverse correlation between the number of steps done and the risk of dying. This means that the more steps you do per day the lower your chances of dying, so when looking at how many steps we should do per day the answer is simply as much as you can.
